#3: Wars that have been joined must be ended in character....this is rather straightforward but let me explain it clearly. If you join a war you need to end the war in character (I.e work with the other player or a third party to make your parties cease hostilities in game). "meta-gaming" the details is fine (I'll give you this system if you give me that and we stop the war?) but don't just have a war suddenly vanish.

(If you are the nation of space hippies myself and Ceslas will look at you slantwise if you suddenly attack and butcher another player for no logical reason).

#5: Ceslas and I will be the "final moderators" for wars and battles...now while I expect to not need a heavy hand in this if you do have concerns over how a battle is going (i.e you have a player claiming his three heavy cruisers just destroyed your Titan because LOLHACKS! or something) please keep it to the PMs between myself and Ceslas where we will moderate it. Do not start flaming each other...remember some folks are new to these stories and might legitimately mean no harm by having their ace character pilot destroy your battleship.

The Rules of War:

#1:

Wars between players are voluntary this means if you are going to declare war on another player(s)...please be courteous and work with them to tell a story. Remember also that wars are not always to the death even in the real world...you can fight over unclaimed space/systems/worlds and don't necessarily need to massacre and destroy the other player(s) unless this is part of the story.

#2:

Once a war has been joined you will be expected to abide by events in the war this means if you agree to a war and it starts not going your way...you can't just cry foul and ignore any worlds/ships/units you've lost and go back to status quo.

#3:

Wars that have been joined must be ended in character....this is rather straightforward but let me explain it clearly. If you join a war you need to end the war in character (I.e work with the other player or a third party to make your parties cease hostilities in game). "meta-gaming" the details is fine (I'll give you this system if you give me that and we stop the war?) but don't just have a war suddenly vanish.

#4:

Please make sure your war is part of a story don't bully another player because you don't like their OOC post or because they confused you and you have a 14,000 point Empire and they have a 2,000 point starting nation. In other words try to have a logical in game reason why you'd declare war. (If you are the nation of space hippies myself and Ceslas will look at you slantwise if you suddenly attack and butcher another player for no logical reason).

#5:

Ceslas and I will be the "final moderators" for wars and battles...now while I expect to not need a heavy hand in this if you do have concerns over how a battle is going (i.e you have a player claiming his three heavy cruisers just destroyed your Titan because LOLHACKS! or something) please keep it to the PMs between myself and Ceslas where we will moderate it. Do not start flaming each other...remember some folks are new to these stories and might legitimately mean no harm by having their ace character pilot destroy your battleship.

#6:

There will occasionally be wars with "NPCs" as a consequence of your actions (deliberate or otherwise) these are not personal...but they are really at this point the only "involuntary wars" you are going to have to participate in. (basically as poor OOM-01 and lordnyx discovered) if you jump into a system and the natives roll advanced and hostile...they'll likely attack.

#7:

In the event of "large scale" NPC wars (for event/story purposes) if you need to bow out of that war pm myself or Ceslas and request that your nation be left in peace. We will try our best to abide by your wishes...however this does not give you free reign to then turn around and use your unscratched navy/army to start butchering other players/stealing their shit unless this is an agreed upon story arc (if you want to be the "next villain" for example).
