Game Premise

The Candlelight is the pick up side-story game of Shadow Haunted World. It revolves around the crew of the Candlelight Conspiracy Blog/News Letter, a small time operation that has recently gotten funding from an eccentric aerospace billionaire to go out personally and investigate incidents of high strangeness. Thematically its a bit more light hearted and serves as a way to explore and explain to the players of the Shadow Haunted World some aspects of the game that appear to be interesting but never got full explanation as that game rockets down its story and to serve as means to keep people active in the time-slot when we're missing people.

Char Creation

Its the same as Shadow Haunted World, with two exception. First you don't pick your specialties and second you don't have any arcana. Your specialties are chosen for you by picking one of the archetypes.

The Candlelight

Its the third most read conspiracy blog on the net with IPs ranging from Langley to spy centers across the industrialized world. It's run out of a small warehouse in San Fransisco and has a friendly rivalry with wiki leaks. However, its been benefited by fact that Ragnar Celine, of Celine Aerospace an self admitted UFO and paranormal interested person has given them a small fortune worth of operating capital and money to go and bring back the real story which means first hand reporting! Also means bringing along his two goons to make sure they're not wasting money.
