The Athena is a Cormorant class super freighter converted into a special operations vessel apparently by the dark rose order. It includes notably more weapons and equipment than normal, but these weapons and features are not obvious to basic inspection and scans, allowing the Athena to put into most ports without the possibility of being refused entry or ceased by authorities.
