Alternate Armor

This is an alternate method to dealing with armor to cut down a bit on the math. Does make weapons a bit more one-dimensional, however.


All weapon Power dice succeed on a 7, with the number of sux determining what level of damage is done.
Piercing X reduces the target number by X. Shields counteract this on a 1-to-1 ratio.
Break X acts as automatic successes up to X or target's shield rating, whichever is lower.

Vehicles no longer have an Armor rating per se; all their 'Armor' values are rolled into the damage thresholds.
