The youngest son of the noble d'Ausonia family, Mareotas is the compromise candidate for captainancy of the space cruiser Ahamara. A skilled tactical armor pilot his rise through the ranks has been hastened by his innate QT talent, giving him seemingly uncanny luck. He is generally relaxed, irrevent and sometimes indulgent, having covered the captain's chair of the Amahara with a tigerskin rug.
