So I did some thinking about this principles and ideology stuff, and I came up with this:

Coalitionist - Mith Nara started as a single-culture island, relatively weak compared to all its neighbors. After taking in millions of refugees from all manner of continental empires that collapsed or were in crisis, things started changing dramatically. The minotaurs had lots of options for dealing with refugees, such as disarming them or trying to push them back out. But that's not what happened. Mith Nara was always going to be one of the last places to fall because of its distance, and seeing all the wreckage on the continent made it clear that they would lose on their own. So they took in anyone willing to fight. Everyone who came brought something they didn't have, be it more powerful magic, specialist forces, mages or military forces like heavy cavalry and airborne units. The flood of newcomers meant that the native minotaurs lost some of their autonomy, because they no longer held the monopoly of force or ability, but the island became a new power. All the disparate and diverse factions managed to work together through their squabbles, and it was an awesome thing. This teamwork stuff is great.

Anti-imperialist - Mith Nara is on a world where demons and regular people tempted by their power are conquering and enslaving everybody. They hate the idea of conquest and subjugation. Once they get out into the wider universe, they're not going to be able to stand idly by.

Multiculturalism - The island is an enormously diverse place. Different peoples have some radically different wants and needs in life and it's reflected in their outlook. Mith Nara can't even countenance a single culture empire or a universal set of superior ideals. They will react badly to strongly polarized cultures that attempt to aggressively push their ideals on others, or force people to conform to some universal code.

Errata That We Know Of:

Mages no longer will be individual units. Convert mages bought with RP at a 10 to 1 rate to +1 to +3 added caps for regular units. Mages bought for PP in starting OOB still trade for PP.

Creature rules are being abolished. All existing creatures will have their abilities treated as biotech caps. All new creatures will need to be made by spending extra PP for their abilities. Existing creature advantages will have their SP converted into infrastructure, because they no longer serve any purpose.
