Sweet Vampire Swords

Blutsauger (Gnosis 6; Wonder 3) 0L+, Conceal P

  • A strange novelty flute given to the Prince of Atlantic City as a trophy by her Sheriff in the extermination of a group of German werewolves who'd arrived to unseat the Camarilla from their lands there. The weapon contains a hungry spirit of war that craves blood and must be suppressed by the user's will to be utilized properly. Feeding it blood causes a long foil and delicate crossguard woven from a red metallic ichor of enchanted blood to manifest from the flute, transforming it into a powerful sword.
  • While it desires mere blood, to use its true powers one must make real sacrifices. Paying a single health level grants the weapon 1 dice of lethal damage, up to 7, although all wounds must be paid simultaneously for this effect. If the wielder is a werewolf or another race that can regenerate, the user may instead pay the price of a 'wound that will not heal' instead, permanently filling a character's non-temporary health levels until the effect is released. In exchange, health levels paid for this way grant automatic damage successes instead of dice.
  • Additionally, with a Wits + Performance (Woodwind) skill test, the user may plunder all the blood in a room for themselves at the price of paying half of all she collects to the flute.

Mechanoparasite Sword (Device 3) 1L (Knife) to 5L (Zweihander), Conceal as appropriate.

  • A deadly sword created through the Thaumaturgical Path of Technomancy, it consists of a gleaming bloodsoaked ooze of metal and wires that binds itself to the user's wrist as a bracelet. The weapon consumes 1 lethal HL from a mortal host or 1 BP from a vampire (ghouls may pay the price of their preference) daily to sustain itself, and in return functions as a deadly morphic blade that can deftly switch between any number of forms at will. Should the wielder be killed, the blade converts itself to pure vitae to cause their corpse to rise the following night as an Tremere Vampire of the 10th generation.
  • However, they must roll Willpower at difficulty 10, with each success giving them one point of Humanity due to the horrific way in which they were transformed. A failure results in them becoming a Wight, and a botch may result in the damned creature's soul fracturing, producing a monstrous Spectre fully manifested into the living world in addition to the Wight.
