Sphere Academy

Introduction

Sphere Academy is a extremely popular stereovision show on IthacaNet Stereovision (INS). It follows the adventures of a group of high school students at Sphere Academy, a major secondary school in the suburbs of Telemak, and is a cel-shaded animation akin to those popular in the Pac-Am arm. What makes Sphere Academy special is that the characters and plot are based on a light-hearted version of current political events. Every major nation is represented as a student, and the producers aim to be at least somewhat fair in their depictions. (though Ithaca-tan and her ZOCU friends are clearly the heroes of the show)

Cast of Characters

Prinicipal Hector - An unfair man who always sides against ZOCU and the ESA, he treats the Core Council members like they could do no wrong.

The Core Council

Often seen as the villains of the show, and definitely portrayed as the teacher's pets, the Core Council rarely get along with each other, formed into three and sometimes four groups based on the teacher to which they kiss up. They are the official student council, but rarely act as a united front.

Zany Outsider Classmates United

The heroes of the show, but also the most wacky students in the show. Half of the trouble they get into is their own fault, but they stand together and accomplish much despite it all. They were kicked out of the student council, and instead act as a side group.

Ithaca-tan

The heroine of the show is an obsessive traditionalist who tosses in random military jargon into her speech. Although Sphere Academy stopped requiring uniforms years ago, she still wears an old-fashioned uniform. She is likable and an excellent student, but her temper is legendary and she is audacious at all times. She is clearly a bioroid, and has standard Ithacan child cybernetics.

The Exceptional Student Association

A new ragtag group of students that has horrible luck and even worse public relations. However, they have threatened to take over ZOCU's place as the likable underdogs.

The Other Students

Not every student is crazy enough to join a major club, and some are just loners by nature.
