Overview

Background

One of a son and two daughters of a struggling lower middle class family living in rural California, Allison did not have a happy childhood. While she there was little privation there was also little to be happy about. Allison was never happy with the way she looked, being chubby and nonathletic, and had few friends. Her family made her get a part time job away from school and pay keep at home, even as she worked on school work with the intention of entering an ivy league university.

Despite her hard word the family tended to favour her older brother. Faced with increasing financial difficulty as Allison came up to the end of highschool her parents prepared to tell Allison that they could not pay for even the small part of her education her scholarship demanded. They picked the absolute worst time to do so, just after she'd successfully completed her history final.

Faced with the death of her dreams Allison had a psychotic break, which rapidly came a transformation. She became what she'd always dreamed of being, a comic book super heroine. Unfortunately in the real world there was little opportunity to fight crime so Allison decided she'd take a year or two off to earn some money in the XWF. To her own surprise Ms. Amazing proved a massive hit with audiences and is regarded as one of XWF's up and coming stars.

Outgoing and vivacious on stage, Ms. Amazing tends to be much quieter in her private life, and endeavors to keep her family out of the news, despite their constant financial troubles, jealousy and complaints.

1. What triggered your eruption and why?

It was the end of high school. Small town USA. I hated high school. I didn't have any close friends, my parents were fighting all the time and I was working a shitty part time job. I was just desperate to go away to university. There was this scholarship I was going for to get into Harvard. That was my way out. A Harvard Scholarship. My parents told me if I didn't get into Ivy League they wouldn't give me a penny towards my education so it had to be that.

My grades were high enough that I could get in, and I found a scholarship that'd pay ninety percent. All my parents needed to do was provide the other ten. It was the day after my last final. "Sorry Allison, we just don't have the money to pay for you to go to..."

I erupted.
