Bio: The resident science geek and mechanical whiz, Hitomi prides herself on being a bit of a polymath, studying chemistry, mechanics, medicine, and literature and the arts - whatever she could get from the orphanage, with the headmistress' help. What Omoi Kanako didn't provide her (and it was quite a bit of materials) she found herself in Masaki College's library, practicing when she could. She near-obsessively tools about with making chemical concoctions and fixing up gang equipment (and gang members). Whether its 'special' cake mix for Moe, or Neko's pills, or Ryu getting a bullet (or ten) removed, she's there to do it, putting all of her knowledge to work. As such, she prefers to remain in her workshop, the old car garage on the Row, where she apprentices to the owner while making other 'sales' under the table. She's polite and friendly with the others, though more content with her lab and experiments than with the streets.
Despite her comfortable position, Hitomi plans to actually attend a prestigious college and achieve a doctorate in chemistry, or medicine. She hasn't quite decided. She then plans to leave behind the Row life, and take her place in academia, studying and experimenting and gaining recognition for it.
