Dewa
The domain of Dewa on the continent of Zenith (Heylel), ruled by a Bugyo (governor, magistrate) who seized power from the local daimyo after the imperial city fell. He currently rules as "regent" for the young princess.

Religion
Reiwan is the predominant religion in Dewa - having spread from Mizuho in ancient times. The capital city, Wakamatsu, is home to the largest Meridian style Reiwan shrine outside of Mizuho.
Military
Dewa Provincial Guard: Ashigaru militia led by Samurai warriors.
Hatamoto: The elite personal guards of the Bugyo.
Sohei: A militant religious order formed of shrine maidens and priests sworn to the Reiwan religion.
Metsuke: A secret police formation formed from shinobi of the Kurosawa Clan, believed to have supported the governor's coup.
Onmyoji: Mage-Priests (and priestesses) who follow or practice a style that mixes the Reiwan religion together with magic.
