Unit stats:' This section covers weapons damage, veteran perks and morale.


Defense:

Bronze:

Lvl2: 6

Iron:
Lvl1: 7
Lvl2: 8
Lvl3: 9


Veteran: For every star add +1 defense.

Attack:
Weapons Basic (note these cover Hanshen weapons other nations/races have different stats for the same class of weapon):
Spear (short): 4
Sword (light): 6
Sword (heavy): 8
Pike: 6
Kwan-Do (two hander weapons): 10
Arrow (archer): 5
Crossbow bolt: 8
Repeater bolt: 6
Cavalry lance: 9
Cavalry Archer: 7

Veteran: For every star add +1 attack.


Morale: Morale determines the likelihood of your units breaking and running. Morale is equivalent to the “save” that must be rolled in order for that unit not to break.
Rookie: Save of 2 or lower.
Veteran (1-3 stars): Save of 3 or lower
Elite (4 stars): Save of 4 or lower
Chosen (5 tars): Save of 5 or lower.

Veterans: To achieve veteran status a regiment must successfully survive a certain number of victorious battles to advance in rank or have a hero character who gained the "drillmaster" trait in command of that regiment.
There are four tiers with different amount of levels.

Rookie: They have not seen many battles if any at all and are still inexperienced. (0-5 battles)
Veteran: They have seen 5 victorious battles and survived the horrors time and again.
1 star: 5-10 battles
2 star: 11-15 battles
3 Star: 16-20 battles

Elite: These men have conquered their fears and their foes alike, they are expert soldiers almost born to kill.
4 Star: 21-30 battles

Chosen: These men seem to have been chosen by heaven for battle, they have seen all there is to see and lived through it. They are walking death. 5 Star: 31+ battles
