Only child of somewhat renowned scavenger parents who made their fortune after stumbling on a large MSA cache. Both parents subsequently disappeared on their next expedition a decade ago and are presumed dead. Ashley had largely been raised by the splicer community that they called home in between expeditions so the absence of parents didn't change its life all that much, though it had to sell off most of its inheritance to raise money to read Media Studies at the Farnese Academy of Fine Arts. Ashley feels the same wanderlust that seized both of its parents, and seeks to do a documentary charting their travels.
