Coming of Age: One of my first major assignments after graduating from the academy was as a temporarily attached staff officer to an inspection fleet sent to the planet Plexira, a planet near the restive fringe of Empire space ruled by the Levenholtz family, who took us in as guests as was and still is according to protocol.

Ambush Escape: The Levenholtzes… they gathered the captains and several of their staffs into a meeting hall, and then slaughtered us like dogs! I was only saved by being in the rear of the group, and escaped by the skin of my teeth and the shooting of a guard before fighting my way out of this killing ground. Retribution: This was my first time in command outside of exercise, but the position spoke to me, and I rose to the occasion. On account of the fact that she has been on continuous deployment for 22 months, 17 days, and 11 hours at the time of this message, her efficient work during this period of time both in defending the imperial borders as well suppressing the outer colonies and the current claimed state of her ships, this request has been granted.
