Alyssa von Ravenschiff
Born to minor noble family in 1993, the family had run afoul of the Grand Duke and was sentenced to death, exile and in the case of the young but obviously bright Alyssa, a trip to a certain lab complex where inhuman experiments where being done to make the next generation of scientists, engineers, tacticians and such. She spent her early childhood to age 8 in the grasps of the complex. Along the way she helped designed the HiME for the military along with several other systems.

During the later days of the War, she saw that things where not going as plan, she managed to to send out through a code information to the advancing troops where the bunker she and her group was in return for amnesty. Soon, the hidden complex found itself under attack, and while most of the Wendines (including many of her fellows) fought to the death, she managed to hide herself till it was safe to come out.

After falling into Otoran hands, her skills and abilities have thus been recoginzed, and she has been since co-opted by an important Otoran NPC to serve as their personal mad doctor.

Alyssa had been one of several young children of nobility that had displeased the old Grand Duke of Wendin that was scooped up in a project to mass produce mad scientists. She escaped during the confusion of the war, and joined with the Otorans out of spite, but the scars of those days still are with her (along with rumors that she had gained a mysterious power) ~moe pill~ intake is required. Though that hasn't helped with the increasing episodes of crazy behavior on her part. There is of course more lasting scars that go deeper into her mind.
