Alyssa had been one of several young children of nobility that had displeased the old Grand Duke of Wendin that was scooped up in a project to mass produce mad scientists. She escaped during the confusion of the war, and joined with the Otorans out of spite, but the scars of those days still are with her (along with rumors that she had gained a mysterious power) ~moe pill~ intake is required. Though that hasn't helped with the increasing episodes of crazy behavior on her part.
