Vivid Ink

Born as "Vinty" into slavery to a clan of scribes, she secretly learned how to read and write on the side and became free by Right of Clergy – an obscure law of her hometown wherein someone who is literate cannot be held a slave. Since no one could be trusted to enforce such a rarely enforced law, she escaped to the Verdant Solarium for protection and to further her studies. She studied and matured under Hieroglyph-of-Oasis' tutelage, being impressed with her philosophies before forming her own views. After her 20th birthday, she adopted the courtesy name Vivid Ink, left the Solarium and struck out on her own. Over the past year, she bought land in the city-state of Bexaue and founded her own atelier from which she now works.
