Through interaction with proper Tradition mages (including chantrymates) and time spent in Tradition horizon realms such as the Pharos of Abkazia, Sasayama, and Victoria Station, Kana has become vaguely aware of how the nine traditions distinguish themselves and the nine spheres of magic. Her own paradigm does not recognise the spheres as somehow metaphysically discrete, nor the specific practices of any of the Traditions as particularly complete. A mage of a given tradition is simply a willworker who belongs to her organisation - an organisation that has become comfortable in willworking in one specific way.

A Multi-Tradition mage should be perfectly permissable and Kana finds it mildly surprising that more don't exist.

Cosplays and Aliases

Kana continues to amass these at a steady rate.

Kanako Kuga (True)

"True Kana" may be Kana's most powerful form, as well as the riskiest to use – a sort of limit break. It may have reduced Arcane and/or require that she achieve an Arete of 6. In theory, True Kana has the most flexible magical style, able to mash props and cosplays in wild ways to achieve generally vulgar effects. Kana started off as True Kana and formed the protective shell of Kana around herself early on in her career.

Kana

Kana normally presents herself as "Kana" to her allies and acquaintences is simply out of convenience and because outright giving a fake name could be troublesome later on. She often shortens her name to just "Kana" or writes it in alternate ways.

Natalie Lamperouge
The alias of Season 2, Natalie was a dark, icy, and vaguely loli tsundere who went to school in Vancouver (in a serafuku) by day while sometimes appearing by night as an anti-heroine similar in appearance to the Black Rock Shooter. Due to exposure, she has an Arcane of 4. [1]

Haruho Artaria-Jurai
An alias of Season 3, Haruho is an aloof but cunning daughter of someone terribly important in the Japanese Underworld. She has myriad Yakuza connections and runs the secretive and mysterious The Artaria Foundation.

Hideki and Q1
An alias within a alias. This was Haruho personally doing footwork in the name of The Artaria Foundation. She dressed up/got into a giant bioroid while Shu dressed up as a cyber ninja.

U.N.Owen and U.F.Owen
Kana is a folk hero in Okhun, a part of the Hollow Earth that she saved from some marauding iron oni raiders. During their brief airborne antics there, Kana and Pam borrowed wings from Flandre Scarlet and Nue Houjuu of Touhou.

Reimu Hakurei ~Sun Priestess version~
After it was revealed that the strange Miko in the caverns was not a priestess mind-controlled by Tokomandilin but actually Tokomandilin in a bad disguise, Kana temporarily replaced her as a Reimu Hakurei variation, unleashing the sun shard's power in a massive final spellcard.

Leading Private Kuga
Under some other given name, Kana infiltrated the JSSDF's nascent tactical armour program.
