- It's various 'nations' and 'stories (well backgrounds/plots/characters)' from my private scifi setting. Which itself is comprises a entire galaxy (or what little I've written up about it/have in my head unwritten.) The basic idea is that as of 50,000 the galaxy is gifted with magic, and magical abilities are mettled out based on 'conservation of plot' (a entire mythology behind the event exists.. not on 'paper' yet. The idea is that each world gets powers distributed amoungst the popluation based on 'thematics' and well.. plot.) After the event, depending on how world's dealt with magic, it exists in various forms later on. Some worlds kept magical knowledge around, a few didn't in any meaningful amount.) | This page (well the article) is self contained 'setting' of it's own. Timeline
526 - The king of Saratica goes on a final campaign agins't the other human nations who fearing his power now that he has so much land and yet, a miniscule army. Saratica wins, with the other kings being removed from power after a great many civil wars are started in the kingdoms suddenly (how convient.) Those who for the rebels (land owning barons who rebel) find themselves with their old positions secured when Saratica smashes each nation in turn (each nation's armies held back by the rebellions erupting throughout said kingdoms.) A few of these baronies from the older sytem of land ownership survive today, and official allies of the Saratican King. (Many since have been absorbed into the new land-usage system when legal problems make it possible to absorb the baronies. Many who were competing to become Barons of those lands are made into Lords or Ladies under the new system and given neighboring plots by the king.)
0 - Kingdom of Saratica is formed on the island to have the same name much later. It begins as a single city - name pending.
521 - Dragonoids invade the main continent of The island kingdom of Saratica leaves it's island and it's armies are paid by a local mainland nations to assist in taking care of the Dragonoid threat, which had lost much of it's steam by this point to other mainland armies. Saratica as it fights the Dragons, also takes territory for itself and allies with a few local powers still able to fight to to help. Between 521 and 523 it takes half of the lands surrounding the sea Saratica island sits in. The other half is made up of local kingdoms who just barely hold on. (A few loose land to Saratica in negoiations.)
