The success of Utopia's Teen Tomorrow project came at a cost. While they managed to present a popular alternative to the fashionable Teragen counterculture, Nova teenagers were legitimised as soldiers in a way that baselines could never be. Recruitment of younger novas to the Rashoud facilities was increased, but many also entered government service or joined the ranks of the Elites. Ethical questions were raised, but the value of harnessing and moulding novas from a young age, and potentially having the next 'supernova' under one's thumb from the beginning, led to a swift closing of ears to such concerns in the corridors of power.

Whitefire’s newest and youngest agent is Junko ‘Lorentz-chan’ Ishiwara. The dramatic circumstances of her eruption convinced her that she is a chosen heroine, a role she has taken to with gusto. Dormant she is Junko Ishiwara, a pure and honest ordinary girl, but active she is Relativistic Warrior Lorentz-chan, ally of justice and punisher of evildoers. Or so she likes to pretend to herself. One might expect such a person to be a natural match with Project Utopia, and indeed Junko has a complete collection of T2M action figures and a crush on fellow gravitokinetic Atlas, but rumours on the internet spooked her enough to seek alternative employment in view of her high degree of 'taint' (about which she is slightly touchy). Whitefire is aware of Junko's 'eccentricities', but tolerates them, as it is an enormous stroke of luck for their company to obtain such a potentially powerful nova so young.

Dormant, Junko is a short, cute Japanese girl with two ponytails. Active, Lorentz-chan is a cel-shaded girl with red eyes and blue hair, that floats of its own accord. She wears a white, blue and red confection and generates physical diagrams when she uses her powers.
