Selena Sirius is the newest pilot aboard the ship, not formally a TRA aligned personal, she is part of initial tranche of fresh soldiers that all call each other sisters supplied by the mysterious Lodge whose history goes back to the founding of the Federation and involved in many of the more infamous in certain circles of assassinations, sabotage, black mail and arms smuggling cases of the back history of the system.

Amelia was a young child when war erupted between the Federation and the Atlantean Alliance. A daughter of a prestigious military family, despite her young age she could physically measure the pressures of the war by the deepening lines on her parents' faces and the anxious quiet that dominated during the increasingly rare times they were home. The hushed whispers when they thought she couldn't hear of rapidly accumulating Federation military advantage and the inability of Nadia to keep up. Then they weren't home at all. Never would be again.

Now alone and world-weary far beyond her years, Amelia pursued a career in the civil service to help Nadia move past the war even as the sight of Federation troops and mobile suits became the new normal for the occupied world. She married, had a child, and was even fast-tracked towards civil leadership on account of her talent before her world was overturned once again. A heavy-handed Federation raid against a suspected Neo-Nadian terrorist cell saw dozens of innocent uninvolved civilians dead or missing, her husband and child among them. But final straw on the camel's back was lackadaisical response of the Federation bureaucracy, who withheld emergency funds pending investigation. Amelia had had enough of peace and reconciliation, and conspiring with the leader of the local Nadean gendarmarie masterminded the storming of a Federation military base and the theft of all of their equipment in a bold act of rebellion.

The furious rebel from the days of Amelia's youth however are gone, leaving only a embittered veteran weathered by both time and loss like embers from an inferno. The war against the occupation stretches out with no end in sight despite victories such as at Nicias, where her outnumbered and underequipped unit shattered a Federation strike group, with nightmares as her only reward.
