• 1. Born to Samuel Macgregor-Mathews and Katō Yuki, respectively an orientalist hermetic who soon came to the country after the Black Ships opened it up and isolated clan of Akahaksics that has claimed alternating stories of being descended from ninja or Onmyōdō magicians, which as been suspiciously wealth and isolated from general mage society in their private mountain valley and village.
• 2. Saki is third child of the family and by the far the youngest, the middle child is her mother's heir to the Katō style, Nabiki and is already in her late 40s with her own children. The oldest brother Ryu is traveling Heremetic swordsman was exile from the family for some violation nobody will talk about. Officially Ryu is still Samuel's apprentice and his own heir.

She was sent to Sotei to gain experience in the real world.

• 5. Upon reaching Tokyo, she bought a bunch of shojou manga, but secretly reads violent shonen martial arts manga and has been kicked out of five different bookstore for loitering and reading them instead of buying them.
