Chargen Overview
Step 1: Archetype
A character's archetype in Eparch of the Sunflower is a sketch of their personal story. The options for archetypes are binary, combining an Origin that establishes where the character begins and an Aspiration that traces the trajectory of their ambitions, the hurdles society will present them before they can achieve success or the passions that drive them forward. In addition to modifying starting statistics, each part of a character's archetype give different times to Invoke Peril (see EotS: Game Rules).
The character's archetype is always presented as "A [Origin] Who [Aspiration]".
