<FBH> The herbalist smiles "mmh. Actually, there's something I kinda wanted to steal :3"
<Karine> "Oh, you're after something specific?"
<Karine> "I just kinda figured we'd shop around."
<FBH> "well you can have anything you like"
<Karine> "Well alright. What is it, for reference?"
<FBH> "A moonsilver dagger"
<FBH> "which once belonged to me."
<Karine> "Right."
<Karine> "Well I'm not quite the world's greatest thief but let's see what happens."

<FBH> Anyway, you head off over the roof tops, with her explaining some of the interesting sights
<FBH> "And that's the tower where two lovers threw themselves to their deaths to escape arranged marriage"
<Karine> So is she fake blind or epically -my other senses are fifty times as good- blind
<FBH> the latter
<FBH> The Musuem is a big, glass domed building with guards around it
<Karine> "Mmm, way to rush at romance."
<Karine> How many and what kind?
<FBH> "yes. I don't know what happened to eloping :|"
<FBH> Mortal by the looks of them, about 20
<Karine> Presumeably there's more than one entrance.

<FBH> 2 doors and a skylight

<FBH> "I'm just a poor blind girl" the herbalist purrs "so maybe you could show me a good way in?"
<Karine> "Well, there's twenty or so popo's, two doors and a skylight.

<Karine> "The skylight seems a little too good to be true, but alright.
<FBH> "Well, what'd you prefer?"
<FBH> "I'm eager to see how you sneak..."
<Karine> We jump for the skylight
<Karine> How sneaking is she btw?
<FBH> She's about 3 dots less sneaky than you
<Karine> That's still fairly sneaky. Okay, lets do it

<FBH> the skylight is open by you see a guard patrolling bellow
<Karine> "You have anything good and small?"
<Karine> (I can go gecko)
<Karine> WHat's the lighting like around here?
<Karine> (I assume she has a bat form)
<FBH> "I can be a ren"
<FBH> "or a bat"
<FBH> it's pretty dark, lamp light
<Karine> Alright then, bat and gecko then. I doubt we'll be spotted by a normal
<Karine> We work out a landing site first
<FBH> It's a corridor. There's rooms on either sides with exibits and stuff
<Karine> zoom
<FBH> ok, you evade the guard into one of the side rooms
<FBH> It's full of first age odds and ends, mostly impressive looking junk
<FBH> there's a suit of Gunzosha armour sitting on one side
<Karine> I don't remember what that is
<FBH> It's a suit of power armour that enhances mortal commandos
<FBH> makes them almost a match for an exalt
<Karine> RIght yeah, I found the entry
<Karine> So any like...daggers? :p
<FBH> not that you can see
<FBH> "I imagine the more intact stuff will be somewhere more secure"
- Karine inspects the Gunzosha anyway.
<FBH> It seems unfortunately non-functional
<Karine> "Mmm how sad. This thing doesn't work. I guess this *is* a junk room."
<Karine> If a last glance reveals nothing valuable, we carry on.
<FBH> down the corridor or room by room?
<Karine> Are any of these rooms qualitatively different from this one? Like special looking doors or whatnot?
<FBH> there's one with a big locked door
<Karine> "Okay, I'm going to quickly glance at all the easy rooms first. We'll do the hard room last in case we end up having to leave flying. Sound cool?"
<FBH> The other lunar nods
<FBH> well, you move down
<FBH> you spot an absurdly nice dress in one room in passing
<Karine> Presumeably there's no clear danger given how awesome we are.
<FBH> Another has an animated gateway set
<FBH> nope
<Karine> absurdly nice dress?
<FBH> It's a first age madlax style party dress
<FBH> the kind that gives you +s to social stats when you wear it
<Karine> cool. I take it
<FBH> you steal away
<Karine> If I need to make checks for traps, my perception/awareness is 8, for reference
<Karine> Like most of my stats, it can reroll :p

<FBH> and your Larceny?
<Karine> 8 and a reroll
<FBH> ok, you steal it no problem
<FBH> "are you going to put that on?"
<Karine> I'm also super duper double-jointed
<Karine> so I gain pluses when it matters
<FBH> ahah
<FBH> you find and disable an alarm trap
<Karine> Well a madlax dress can't possibly get in the way of movement, so I'll change into it.
<FBH> you acquire madlax dress +1 ap +1 charisma
<Karine> "Mm, now I feel too much like a common thief. Should've brought something fun to leave here.
<Karine> "Oh well."
<Karine> Anything else?
<Karine> :3
<FBH> not in the unlocked rooms
<FBH> "Well you seem to be an uncommonly beatiful thief at least :3"
<Karine> "Psh, I hold myself to a high standard you know."
<FBH> "So it appears"
- Karine picks up a few odds and ends that would look good ven if they aren't too magical or even useful, then moves on to lockedroom
<FBH> there's a very complicated combination lock, which your companion is listening to and unlocking
- Karine keeps watch down either side of the corridor while waiting.
<FBH> The door clicks open and you enter a large room. There's the bones of some large ancient creature standing ahead, and various artifacts on stands
<Karine> bones?
<FBH> a non-functional looking warstrider stands on the other side
<Karine> What dinosaur bones?
<FBH> yeah basically
- Karine looks curiously at the warstrider anyhow.
<FBH> It's a jade one, a scout by the look of it. It seems to be battle damaged
<FBH> "aaah!" your companion walks over to one of the stands where a dagger is resting under a crystal dome
<FBH> "here it is"
<Karine> "Oh good, you found what you were looking for."
<FBH> "yes indeed"
- Karine looks at the other stuff quickly to see what to make off with."
<FBH> There's a pair of hearthstone bracers, also moonsilver, on a statue
<FBH> "could you help me break into the case?"
<Karine> "Right."
- Karine comes over silently and gives the problematic dome a look.
<FBH> it seems to be sealed, there must be a mechanism somewhere else in the room to open it
<Karine> "Hmm..."
- Karine looks around, near the entrance especially
<FBH> you get the feeling this is one of those annoying difficult to find switch puzzles
<Karine> "Oh I see, this is one of those switch puzzles."
- Karine looks in the mouth of the dino bones
<FBH> and low and behold, there is a switch
<Karine> flick
<FBH> the dome retracts
<FBH> your companion listens to the base for a moment then flicks the dagger off and replaces it with a grass one
<Karine> "I guess some mortal came up with this."
<FBH> "mmh security here is kinda meh :|"
<FBH> "Still." the silver dagger flows around her till she's wearing a full suit of silver armour, then flows back into the dagger "I'm glad I could do this with someone"
<Karine> "Yeah. Lets set it off before we leave."
<FBH> "the alarm?
<FBH> She smiles
<Karine> I take some hearthstone bracers and as much as we can carry.
<Karine> or wear
<FBH> ok, you loot the place blind and then set off the alarm how?
<FBH> or do you want to set off the bracer's alarm?
<Karine> Well I would prefer to set it off by leaving via warstrider but if it really is battle damaged I guess it'll have to be some minor alarm that's on the way out.
<FBH> ok, you set the alarm off and guards begin rushing about
<Karine> guards: "is this where the alarm went off?" "I don't see anything"
<Karine> warstrider: "WOM" *zaku mono-eye
<FBH> it is unfortunately battle damaged
<Karine> Yeah :(
<FBH> anyway, you leave the place in uproar, unless you want to mess with the guards more
<Karine> I can't really think of anything to mess with the guards with, but I will leave the clothes I changed out of behind, in case I want to mess with the investigation later
<FBH> lol
<FBH> ok, you eventually head home
<FBH> or to the herbalists shop
<FBH> "So... I thought I'd make you dinner to celebrate our success and maybe offer you a free ride back to that boy and his friends, if you want to find them again"
<Karine> "Mmm, I think I'll accept then. On both counts."
<FBH> "Good good :)"
