Backgrounds
Avatar 5
It's GODDAMN Achilles.
Device 3
Exomuscle
- +2 Strength, +1 Dexterity, +2 Stamina, +6 -0 HLs, +2d Armor, +1d CM, heals at half effectiveness w/o conjunctional Matter. Soaks Lethal/Agg w/full Stamina. Huge.
Device 5
Bionanotech Integration
- +3 Stamina, immortal, regenerates 1 HL/round, immune to mundane poison/disease.
Device 6
Myrmidon Power Armor (Light): A relatively lightweight suit of cutting-edge powered combat armor. There are a few power armor suits which are of superior design, but outside of Nimrod and other vanity projects very, very few powered hardsuits can compete with the sheer power of the Myrmidon. Base item is a suit of heavy combat armor with 6d soak and -4 mobility penalty.
- Arete 5 (5)
- Quintessence 20 (4)
- Integral Retractable Blade (Str + 3L damage)
- Forces 2 Adaptive Armor Support (1)
- Negates mobility penalty
- Forces 2 Myomer Booster System (1)
- Roll the suit's Arete to move extremely fast. Each success increases movement speed by up to 100%. More than an 100% increase is vulgar, but it does not have to be fully utilized. Uses 1 Quintessence/activation.
- Time 3 Augmented Reaction System (1)
- Roll the suit's Arete to activate. Each success allows the user to take an extra action for the turn (but only for the turn, it doesn't last). 1 extra action is coincidental, more are vulgar. Uses 1 Quintessence/activation.
- Matter 3 Hardened Carapace (1)
- Negates the effects of armor piercing/increased soak difficulties.
- Forces 2/Matter 3 Flexible Piezoelectric Epidermis (1)
- Roll the suit's Arete. Each success adds 1 automatic success to soak rolls for the turn. This lasts for one turn only. Uses 1 Quintessence/activation.
- Matter 4/Life 3 Myomer Musculature (1)
- Adds +2 Strength and +1 Dexterity while worn.
- Prime 3 Reactive Countermagic (1)
- Adds +3d to CM when worn
- Failure-Prone (-3)
- If armor is breached (user takes damage), roll Arete. Failure means all systems fail except the soak.
Enhancements 6
Primium Countermeasures (8)
- +4d CM
Physical Structure Enhancements (8)
- +2 Dexterity, +2 Strength
Extrasensory Perception (2)
- Weak Points: Per + Awareness to see weakpoints, adds to damage/reduces enemy soak.
Requisitions 3
Yeah, it's true that nobody likes him much. Of course, that's not very relevant when you can airdrop him in by himself, with just remote support, and he can singlehandedly ruin the day like several platoons of HITMarks would, except with 1% of the footprint. So when he asks for a NSN Plasma Caster, you give him a NSN Plasma Caster.
Merits & Flaws
Merits
- Code of Honor (Warrior Ethos)
- Iron Will: Achilles may be convinced. He may be fooled. His rage may induce him into acting in a self-destructive manner. But he will not be bound.
- Jack of All Trades: EXEMPLAR Project broad-spectrum programming. It's really helpful.
- Legendary Strength: Achilles, Son of Peleus, strong like a god. There are giant death robots which aren't as strong as he is. Adds 1 automatic success to all Strength rolls (a la Potence).
- Legendary Dexterity: Swift-footed Achilles, blindingly fast and lethal. 10s on Dexterity rolls count as 2 successes.
- Legendary Stamina: The invulnerable Achilles, whose sole weakness was his heel. Well okay, the Technocracy broadened this weakness a little, but also made it less impressive. Against an attack which is not a called shot, Achilles soaks at -3 difficulty.
Flaws
- Construct: Self-explanatory.
- Stress Atavism: The rage of Achilles is truly legendary to behold. There is a reason standard deployment of Piero involves "okay, let him bring up every combat-relevant Procedure he can, literally drop him on the problem, and retrieve him a few hours later."
- +2 Strength, +1 Stamina, 3 -0 HLs, kills everything that moves, friend or foe.
Genetic Flaws
- Primal Marks (2)
- Superdense Body Weight (1)
- Dietary Requirements (1)
- "Plasticky" Skin (1)
