Yeah, it's true that nobody likes him much. Of course, that's not very relevant when you can airdrop him in by himself, with just remote support, and he can singlehandedly ruin the day like several platoons of HITMarks would, except with 1% of the footprint. So when he asks for a NSN Plasma Caster, you give him a NSN Plasma Caster.
Merits & Flaws
Merits
- Code of Honor (Warrior Ethos)
- Iron Will: Achilles may be convinced. He may be fooled. His rage may induce him into acting in a self-destructive manner. But he will not be bound.
- Jack of All Trades: EXEMPLAR Project broad-spectrum programming. It's really helpful.
- Legendary Strength: Achilles, Son of Peleus, strong like a god. There are giant death robots which aren't as strong as he is. Adds 1 automatic success to all Strength rolls (a la Potence).
- Legendary Dexterity: Swift-footed Achilles, blindingly fast and lethal. Multiple action penalties are reduced by 2.
- Legendary Stamina: The invulnerable Achilles, whose sole weakness was his heel. Well okay, the Technocracy broadened this weakness a little, but also made it less impressive. Against an attack which is not a called shot, Achilles soaks at -3 difficulty.
Flaws
- Construct: Self-explanatory.
- Stress Atavism: The rage of Achilles is truly legendary to behold. There is a reason standard deployment of Piero involves "okay, let him bring up every combat-relevant Procedure he can, literally drop him on the problem, and retrieve him a few hours later."
- +2 Strength, +1 Stamina, 3 -0 HLs, kills everything that moves, friend or foe.
