Overview
Description
A somewhat plain woman of her mid-twenties wearing expensive styles, with mousy brown hair and dark blue eyes. She has a remarkable collection of eyewear in a number of unusual styles, and tends to wear colored glass jewelry instead of more common gemstones.
Background
Born in a small village a few miles outside of Paris, Claudie descends from a very long line of Verditus glassmiths, dating from the time when the House was one of the largest in the Order. She has spent much of her life immersed in the making and shaping of glass and taken to it as at least one in a generation before her has. Changing times have shifted her priorities away from merely preserving traditions like her now-estranged mentor uncle once did, to the modernization of the families' practices so that they might be able to continue their techniques in the future.
Already an accomplished master of the art, an eighteen year-old Claudie moved to Canada for seven years to get a formal education and then returned to Paris to open her own optometry practice. There she casually weaves her magick with the mundane arts, offering sleepers wondrous vision and beautifully hand-crafted custom eyewear.
In her private workshop she mixes the old ways with the new, even dabbling with custom automotive parts (her second passion) as an elaboration of her craftsmanship.
