Age (-6): He's old, in his sixties (although he's in great shape and looks a bit younger). Now normally this wouldn't be a problem, except...

Curse (-3): One of the Silverthorn side effects is accelerated aging, which is kept at bay with a regimen of anagathics. In essence, he is completely immune to any attempts at life-extension regimens. Michael Williams is going to die of old age if something else doesn't get him first.

Dark Secret (-3): Once, very long ago, there was an Akashic named Jiangxin Hua. He was a gifted student of the martial arts, but he was too attached to the world. His sifu said that attachment leads to suffering and betrayal. He was right. Unfortunately for that sifu, he was wrong about who was getting betrayed.

Enemies (-6): That sifu had another student. She's now teaching her own Akashics and really would like revenge.

Faulty Enhancements (-12): MKSILVERTHORN was 1960s stuff based on 1960s Consensus. Unlike newfangled retrovirals or nanomachines or cybernetic implants, Silverthorn requires constant pharmaceutical upkeep (Enhancements are taken offline if character misses a step in his drug regimen)
