The Konan Principality is a ZOCU power established early in the colonization era by a longshot mission privately funded by a number of foundations owned by extraordinarily powerful and wealthy transgene dynasties. It was and continues to be well known for being a high technology center and for its longstanding practice of fighting tooth and nail to reduce undesireable immigration, giving it quite a low population compared to other states of its influence.
