Dominion of Amahara
The Dominion of Amahara is a Shinto civilization existing in various forms supposedly from 660BC. They are the designated protagonist most of the time and the world narrative generally revolves around and radiates from them.

Ezo Republic
A possible state including only the northernmost island of the Amaharan Home Islands in divergent timelines where Amaharan state authority becomes divided. In such cases it is the poorest of the lot and the one most likely to engage and be successful in morally questionable research. May or may not be catgirl majority.

Despite its official name, it is not actually a republic since it continues to recognize the Apostle.

Middle Empire

The NotChina of World of Amahara.

Yan Dynasty
The dynasty of the realm for the period leading up to the Age of Steam during which it fell into a massive civil war and collapsed.

Lian Dynasty
The Lian dynasty emerged from a morass of warlords by the 1940's or 50's, brought about a brief imperial revival and gathered strength over the period. They eventually become the main antagonists in the final stages of the Sixty Years War. Depending on the timeline it either coerces Amahara into an alliance or invades the Home Islands during the 1970's and its imperial family are either real powers or figureheads. It is finally brought low by spin bombs, resulting in immense damage to core territories. Ceases to exist in 1978.

North Middle Republic
The declared successor of the Middle Empire in all timelines with the imperial system abolished for good. Consists of the northern part of the former Middle Empire. A poorly managed and corrupt state that maintains its place due to sheer size, constituting most of the population of the North Ectasian Economic Treaty. Its rebuilding programs failed compared to those effected in the Middle People's Republic.

North Ectasian Economic Treaty

These are the more minor members of NEET, an alliance formed near the end of the Sixty Years War. The great powers in the alliance are the Albish Union, North Middle Republic and Dominion of Amahara who have their own sections. Some of these nations have influences from all over the place as far as northern Rose Europe. The most recent migration of people arrived across the arctic rim following the wars in Rose Europe in the 17th century. For the WARP Zones timeline, Amahara's membership is unofficial. Excepting the North Middle Republic, these countries are also the launch territories of the VRMMO Hisa Online in WARP Zones 2019.

Silla Republic
The most populous of the minor powers, Silla is a traditional friend of Juri but has been invaded at some point in the past by almost everyone else.

Juri Principality
The matriarchal pacifist victim country, but also a survivor on the world stage.

Amur Republic
Almost landlocked. Not prosperous. A bit snappy.

Dalian Republic
A bit of a mismanaged tinpot with Sunflower Asian and Middle Empire influences and generally never as good at being either as the real thing. Most recently got rolled for the upteenth time by the Rourans in the last leg of the Sixty Years War.

Syrno Republic
The only country in the region with a significant proportion of catholics (though it is still mostly orthodox). Very much a cultural melting pot over the last few centuries.

Valkyr Principality
A blend of local shamanism and valkyries.

Baikal Republic
Best known for inventing the spin bomb, a weapon of mass destruction that changed the face of the world.

Sairaag Republic
Melting pot? Energy.

People's Confederacy of Lotus Asia

A supernational superpower formed at the end of the Sixty Years War.

Kushara People's Republic
The NotIndia. The largest of several former Britannian colonies in southern Lotus Asia that turned communist and converted its neighbours. It is the dominant member by far of the PCLA.

Middle People's Republic
Composed of the southern part of what was the Middle Empire. Despite its great population, very much a subordinate of Kushara. Its program of rebuilding has been more successful than that of the North Middle Republic.

Rouran People's Republic
Communist takeover of the Lian aligned Rouran Khanate.

Ryunan People's Republic
A member of the People's Confederacy of Lotus Asia formed by communist occupation of Amaharan Ryunan following the end of the Sixty Years War. Exists in the WARP Zones timeline and possibly others.

Francia
The Francian Empire rose to superpower status following the Francian Revolution starting 1793 which led to the rise of Napoleon. The Napoleonic Wars ended in 1818 with the Francian dominance of Rose Europe and the world. Its chief enemies, Britannia and Rossiya were dealt crushing blows from which neither recovered. The Britannian homeland was conquered. Rossiyan control of the Arctic Rim was broken and the independence of minor powers across the Asias was confirmed. Francia entered a century of golden age as sole superpower throughout the Age of Steam.

Old Britannia
Britannia emerged as a prominent power in Rose Europe and across the globe following the Romantic Wars, generally at the expense of Uragos and Ezpana. From there, it expanded the reach of Rose Europe even further, creating an empire that remains unparalleled in size and spreading its cultural and linguistic legacy. At the start of the Age of Steam, it engaged in a titanic war with Francia for the fate of the world and lost. Old Britannia was conquered and its royal family was forced to flee to the colonies where New Britannia was declared.

Karlsland
A new state formed following Napoleon's conquest of continental Rose Europe after Francia annexed major areas in the region and creating a territorially large but less populated state in the north of Rose Europe. Starting as a Francian puppet, Karlsland grew apart decade by decade and became a rival of Francia by the late 19th century.

Danuby
A large and populous state in eastern Rose Europe that has existed since at least the fall of Constantinople. It was late to the imperial race due to poor access to the ocean but was a fierce opponent of all its enemies on land.

Ezpana
One of the two great powers of the Age of Discovery, Ezpana was the sponsor of Cthlumbus and created a large and wealthy overseas empire. Devoutly catholic, Ezpana suffered the worst of the Romantic Wars.

Rossiya
Like Britannia, Rossiya's Czars rose to power in the wake of the Romantic Wars and was brought low by Francia in the early 19th century.
