Empire of West Lotic
Once the industrial heartland of Lotic, West Lotic is an a constitutional monarch ruled by one side of the imperial family since the split between East and West Lotic in 1860. West Lotic was the first power to develop Glories and one of the Alliance's foremost members. Despite its large territory and population, West Lotic's military was almost destroyed in the war and it is a shell of its former self, reliant on Glories for its protection.

Empire of East Lotic
After splitting off from West Lotic over 100 years ago, East Lotic's branch of the Lotic imperial family formed a far more monarchical absolutist order. The two sides fought several wars over the last century, finally coming to an agreement in the Peace of 1914. Since then, the two imperial houses have reconciled somewhat, though they remain separate states. East Lotic was also involved in the Intercontinental Alliance, and its military took on much of the fighting in the wars later stages.
