-Catherine is an attractive woman in her early thirties, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. Most of the time she wears old fashioned, vaguely Victorian style dresses. All of this combined with her big glasses, which she doesn't really need, makes her look like the stereotypical cute Victorian librarian.<br>

-<b><u>BACKGROUND</u></b><br>
-She used to work for the history department at Durham, where she was already considered somewhat eccentric. At one point she was hired to examine some handwritten manuscripts that'd been found in an old run-down mansion. They were accounts of spiritualist sessions, many of them quite involved, often including photographs and so forth. The mansion itself was being restored, as a historical building, and Catherine went out there to make sure that any new founds were taken care of. This of course led to her first encounter with real ghosts, when she spent the night there alone. The ghost or spirit led her to a special cache, the real goodies, after extracting from her a promise that she would wait a year and a day before revealing the manuscripts she'd find to the public.
