Oh, right, Yeah. FBH wanted me to like, write down characters for UNASUR, NORPAC, and EU mecha teams to use for his Sphere/SRW Crossover. So, yeah.

Experimental Mecha Development Team (PACT)

Formed in 2192 by a unanimous vote of PACT Joint Command, the Experimental Mecha Development Team was organized as the successor to Project Native Dancer, the Pan-PACT project that developed the first combat frames in 2186. While the official mandate for the project was to develop counters to mega-particle armed Zodiac Combat Frames, the EMDT is being used as a breeding ground for new, more skilled pilots. Officially under the command of Major Michael Arbuela, the team incorporates many non-military organizations such as DARPA, and corporate representatives.

Major Michael Arbuela, Brazilian Federal Navy Born in the slum of Luisaville on the outskirts of Cidade da Mãe Virgem in 2164, Michael Arbuela came from a poor, broken home. Despite an abusive father, abusive mother, and an older brother who could be described as a petty-yet-brutal criminal, Michael managed to mature into a pious and patriotic young man, mostly due to the fact that he spent more time at the local church and the church-run school than he did at home. Climbing up from the slums of his birth, Michael received a scholarship, going to an engineering university on earth and earning a degree in humanoid mechanical engineering.

Despite his degree, Michael was not destined for the private sector, and soon after getting his degree in 2184, he was commissioned into the Brazilian Federal Navy in mid 2185, and assigned to Project Native Dancer. As the development and testing of the first PACT combat frames continued, it was obvious that Michael was an obvious natural at piloting them in combat; This resulted in Michael being the first confirmed combat pilot for the Puma, Cougar, and Black Bear. Logging at least 50 flight hours in the three frames, he settled into a customized Red Cougar, piloting it until the development of the Ocelot.

Seeing action all along the Pacific Arm and in the southies, and was confirmed to have atleast one confirmed kill of every model of Zodiac/Southie Combat Frame UNASUR forces encountered in the war, and shoot down 8 Hopilites and at-least two Sarissas in the Battle of Rapture before being shot down in a duel with the KMA-240 Kusanagi (But not before causing enough damage to the Monster to cause it to retreat from the battle for repairs, saving an USASF Supercarrier in the process) and put into a week long coma from wounds sustained in the fight, gaining the moniker The Red Knight from his skill, chivalry, and the red color of his Ocelot. Following the end of the war, Arbuela was assigned back to Sao Galvao, where he served as the head of the 1st Tactical Aerospace Squadron up until 2192, where he was given command of the EMDT.

During the war, Michael worked closely with Harawayan Violet defector Julia Margrange, who's Peltast assisted Native Dancer engineers in finalizing the 1st Generation. The pair reportedly fell in love sometime during the war, and have had a stable relationship to this day despite Michael's inherent dislike of transgenic individuals and Julia's initially aloofness and distrust of Michael, though Michael has been hesitant to propose to her(Only, infact, doing so in December 2194, on Christmas Day), in fear of turning out like his father. Michael was also afraid of a relationship with Julia, not even realizing her affections until after his fight with the Kusanagi, and then going through a crisis of faith, his latent and buried hatred of transgenics fighting with the feelings he had for Julia, and the thing's he'd seen during the war; eventually un-repressing his love for Julia; Michael found and apologized to Julia, promising her that he would do anything to make up for his stupidity

Personality-wise, Michael is an extremely kind and gentle man, pious and noble, with an affectionate side that . Extremely religious, Michael still attends mass in the very same church he used to escape his fractious home life. He is also known for sometimes being normally even-headed with an apparently unfeasible temper, though when something sets him off, he becomes firery. One of Michael's oddest quirks is his adoption of some chivalric ideals, which has been tuned down by his Fiancée, and his extremely selfless and heroic nature. Due to his actions during the war, and his charming personality, Michael is generally seen as a propaganda coup for the government. The man himself, physically, is a mountain of a man, standing in at seven foot one, and weighing in at around 275 lbs, with dark hair and brown eyes.

Major Julia Margrange(Nee Arbuela), Oceanian Navy Harawayan-born, Julia Margrange is a Violet, born and raised in the boondocks of Haraway, not hearing much of the outside world... blah blah blah, joins Haraway's military, becomes a pilot, becomes fed up with the caste tension and warmongering, Squadron is assigned to Kanon, becomes fed up with the Baroque social pyramid there and is introduced to people from the core for the first time, realizes that the whole divide between transgenes and baselines is stupid hatred, war begins, defects to an Oceanian ship during the battle of Kanon, is speedrushed into the Oceanian Navy as an officer and is assigned to Project Native Dancer, Develops a friendly rivalry with Michael, trained Oceanian Frame pilots before being loaned to the Brazilian Federal Navy, fights alongside Michael in the Southies and at Rapture, Gets fed up Michael not noticing her romantic advances when he doesn't notice her affections after she refused to leave the room he was recovering in until he woke; going through a mixture of emotions before coming to the (False) conclusion that Michael would never see her as anything more than a co-worker because of her transgenic enhancements and fairly petite body, and was ready to return to Oceania until Michael promptly apologized to her, making all sorts of wild promises to the Violet. Julia is in fact a more well rounded pilot than Michael, but lacks both his luck and talent. She is a strong, feminine woman, simple and less arrogant than the average Harawayan, but in no way less independent than them. Initially confused, embarrassed, and ashamed by her attraction to men, Julia is now sure that just because she's involved with a man doesn't make her any less of a woman, her relation with michael being mutually powerful affection from two equal individuals.
