Many smaller colonies that remained in isolation before the Fall had divergent ideas about society and humanity than Planetary Consortium and Jovian Republic. While some groups stressed the perfection of the body and the creation of an ideal archetype of person: a soldier, mercenary, thinker or cog in the industrial machine crafted from a transhuman mind set into a specialized body, some tackled the issue of the mind more radically.

The people of Natalie's habitat preferred stock morphs with few behind the counter modifications, but had spent several decades experimenting with psychological conditioning and forking techniques. Hoping to disguise themselves as harmless and useful people to more radical or aggressive communes, they split the aggressive and resolute, "masculine" aspects of their minds from the more nurturing and peaceful, "feminine" mindsets. To this extent, every living person from the Kuang-Nagi asteroid habitat is not a single person, but the product of two specially groomed forks created during the recipient's early childhood, and later inserted together into a receptive body. Partial memory mergers allow both forks to understand eachother and treat one another as halves of the same person.

Natalie is a nouveau-riche XP and holovid actress who uses a specialized fork sharing her body as a personal bodyguard. She uses her very broad talents and limited psi ability to bring herself wealth, fame and recognition from her peers. Although she is able to make a living as an actress, she often expends funds as quickly as she earns them, placing her in a semi-permanent state of stylish vagrancy.

Although she secretly harbors some worries about the dangerous nature of her fork, it it an invaluable tool for her own protection, and its megalomania is a reasonable extension of her own mild narcissism.

Her main sleeve is a lean and svelte Fury of a medium height and stature, with rough cut white hair, tea rose skin and orange eyes.
