One day I'll reach the stars.

The ordinary daughter of an ordinary family from the South of England, Electra was never the less identified early on as being a gifted student. Always rather an outcaste, Electra spent a lot of time reading, especially science fiction, and was teased a lot by her friends and peers. University was an escape for her, a place where she finally mostly fit in, and could do work that she liked. It was natural that she'd seek to stay there as long as possible.

After working her way through a four year degree in physics, Electra went onto the doctorate program in physics at University College London. Things where pretty normal until one day she got a result that was impossible. Thinking she'd messed up the experiment somehow, Electra tried it again and found it was also repeatable. After a few more tries and talking to her supervisor she found to her dismay that her results were not publishable and that nobody except her supervisor believed her.

Then she got an email. It seemed her supervisor had talked to a few friends and Electra was taken in by the Sons of Ether. She continued her studies at UCL, though now keeping her stranger results quiet in order to avoid the attention of the technocracy. She met Shannon Travers while trying to find someone to help her build her stranger devices, and then with her fell in with the Idol House after asking her new contacts where she could meet other mages.

Electra is now rather alternative looking, with several tattoos and numerous different colour highlights in her hair. Still extremely shy, Electra prefers to stay at home with her machines rather than go out.
