Randal Carter, a super-enthusiastic martial arts student and maker/star of B-train movies involving many broken necks, eventually moved his family to Japan in order to continue his "studies". He even dropped his western surname and adopted a Japanese one. Naturally, Leah, grew up without it (despite it existing on her Canadian birth certificate). Memberof the Karate and Kendo Club's.
