About Hyerunea
Alignments and Gods
The Holy Church of Utosan
The Holy Church of Utosan is the dominant religion among the humans of Hyerunea. Loosely based on the Catholic Church, the Utosani Church was, and still is, one of the dominant political and social forces on Hyerunea. The Holy Church of Utosan worships Highest-Blessed Almaran as its creator figure and head of the pantheon; while his wife Harmonious Falling Blossoms Delkira is both the Godess of War and the Goddess of Motherhood. Their son Never-Faltering Mikonatos is the God of Heroes, the patron of able bodied men and women who seek to do good everywhere. Sturdy-Armed Midola is Mikonatos' loyal wife and equal; she is the Goddess of Marriage and the Forge.
Highest-Blessed Almaran, the All Father
- Highest-Blessed Almaran is the highest deity in the Hyerunean pantheon, and along with his wife Harmonious Falling Blossoms Delkira, makes up one half of the Hyerunean creation myth. Almaran is most commonly worshiped by the monolithic Holy Church of Utosan(which also worships his wife Delkira and his son Mikonatos). The Utosan church is led by a pope, and has various cardinals and bishops.
