Abigail Rhinestar

Born of a rich family, Rhinestar has always been encouraged to strive forth rather than simply living on family wealth. Not content with life as a courtly woman, Abigail trained relentlessly for military service, trying to prove herself more than just a dilettante. She's always thrown herself into everything with boundless enthusiasm, her personal code and desire to prove herself leading her into trouble as well as success. She hopes desperately to be able to serve her country, to fight its enemies back, raised on stories from the war by her mother. Whether or not the death of many of her aunts, uncles, and cousins in the last Obean war have scarred her, she doesn't say. She seems too eager to fight.

Despite her tomboyish bombast, Albrecht is actually fairly cultured, enjoying theatre and movies as well as sports. She has a strange fondness for pudding, to the point that she can override reason. She is trained in the higher-class etiquette of a noblewoman, but she saves those for when needed; mostly, she lets herself run wild.
