	The second of the UN's 'Stargazer Triad', the Galileo series planetary exploration ship were tasked with performing landings and ground investigations on worlds surveyed by the Challengers. While originally the design was similar to that of the Challengers, a radical new proposal from the ESA saw the Galileo turn into an immense (for the time) aerodyne ship capable of performing landings and take-offs under its own power.
