While there is still a Protector, the current HoS for the Enlightened Colony is a elected position from the ranks of the Senate.

	Just after the colony of the Enlightened was initially finished, the next goal was station defenses from asteroid attack. To fill this gap, the Dagger class fighter was quickly designed in a matter of weeks and produced in a initial run of 50. After these entered service protecting the colony from asteroid threats, the design was polished and a second generation of these fighters were produced with the same stats. They are optionally armed with lasers to vaporise targets but also kinetic impactors (bullets with blund fronts) that can range anywhere up to a meter in diameter. These served (although the first batch was quickly retired) until 220 AC in the fighter corps. first as main line units, then as backups, and finally being used as trainers. They were produced as the laser variant until 189 AC, when they were discontinued. Those who survived of the second production run were scrapped, while a copy of the original run is kept in a ~~Museum~~. 	Not much more than a standard destroyer, the Tenacious is armed with six missile tubes both fore and aft. There is two Hecaspherical Dual Laser turrets on both the extreme fore and aft. There are also four Hecaspherical Dual Laser turrets both facing fore and aft amidships equidistant around the ship. Amidships is a large cargo hold ~~that~~ is ~~used to help deliver enough foodstuffs to~~ the ~~Dull Colony.~~		Not much more than a standard destroyer, the Tenacious is armed with six missile tubes both fore and aft. 			====Delicate Lilium====

			A spindly craft painted black, the Lilium can outperform most any craft seen in the Union's military outside spaceships. (Even then it's far more agile.) The craft has a excess of weapons, but must reply on agility due to poor armor. It's shields are standard, but cannot stop sustained damage from a cruiser's antiaircraft weapons.

	Designed by Renna Irani, [[☿Genius \| Genius]], these are the latest design to be put into mass production. The first 27 were custom jobs made by Irani, and had custom detailing and color schemes choosen by the pilots. The next batches, 54 total, were made by her assistants using a ~~standarized~~ color scheme and detailing. These pilots were new to piloting and thus had no desires as to the look of their mechs. 	The stats are as follows. It's it magitechnical, allowing it to have tech caps and higher magical caps as well, while working as a unit despite normal magic/tech rules.
