	Terrible shot and often irreverant, it's obvious Airi jumpstarted her career as a rising star officer by belonging to one of the nation's most prominent cleric-politician dynasties. Usually, she comes across as very "my pace" if not outright lazy, superficial, juvenile and doesn't seem to take war nearly seriously enough. This would tend to make anyone a terrible officer except she's a lot more clever than she actually lets on and has a streak of unconventional yet effective guile that causes no end of frustration during exercises. The fact she holds herself in such high regard doesn't seem to have stopped her from making drink and drug buddies, whom she affectionately refers to as her cheerleaders when applying her favourite tactic: calling in support. 	Although naturally attractive physically, Airi pays no attention to her appearance or modesty unless a social occasion demands it, which doesn't usually include having a well kept uniform during inspection either. Her mass of hair is always unkempt. A ~~prominent~~ gamer, Airi usually plays ugly, unpopular or unconventional classes and here too achieves victory through cheese strategies, gimmick builds and exploits. This is further reflected in her STRIPES which is a ridiculous, hunchback looking thing and which boosts her ego when she "pwns" people in a glorified tractor.

			Wakana was the youngest child of a police family in the Ryunan district, but broke expectations by being adjunct to an investigation by internal affairs (that placed a former boyfriend in jail) and quitting a comfortable desk position to join the STRIPES-using E-SWAT unit. Largely ostracized by her family and peers, she moved to the capital after finishing training and spent her early twenties dealing with high-level pseudo-STRIPES crimes in the Rossiyan-heavy immigrant districts. She earned a reputation as a somewhat hard-bitten officer who recklessly endangered herself and teammates in pursuit of objectives, which eventually led her to being put on four months of leave pending an incident on the New Britannian oil tanker "Big Shell".

			After the announcement of Operation Thunderhead, Wakana handed in her reservation to her commander in E-SWAT. A long-time reservist, she was swiftly moved towards the Chishima front along with hundreds of other volunteers from the capital.
