It is one year before the fateful Battle of Yavin. The Rebels are an annoying fly that keeps buzzing around the Empire, never causing major problems, but continuously being noticed.

The party is a group of freelance entrepreneurs who have just hit it big with a new contact willing to use them as the go to group for completing various tasks.

As part of the contract, the contact is providing a new (to them) ship to facilitate in completing these tasks.
