	Methods: Subjects were assembled together and offered refreshments containing class E hypnogenics. They were shown the contents of a wooden box containing 24 red and 15 black tiles. The numbers were explained to them. Once in a suggestible state, they were divided into pairs and subject to type 2 memetic reprogramming for 20 minutes, causing them to believe that the box still contained 24 red and 15 black tiles, even when six of the black tiles ~~had been removed~~ had been removed. Subjects: The inhabitants the Island of Penmor, Wales, 1814 souls of ages newborn to 85. Subjects are 52% female, 48% male. Intelligence and test scores are in the normal range. Ideological purity assessed at mid to high scale.

Methods: Subjects were introduced to the new Vicar of the island, who owned a red bicycle. Local water supply was treated with standard doses of class E hypnogenics. After three days to allow the hypnogenics to take effect, the subjects were subject to type 1 memetic treatment and convinced that the bicycle was blue.

Results: Bicycle was observed to have changed colour from red to blue.
