			:Heir to a lost kingdom.

			::Once the youngest prince of Lapingria, a green country nestled with the snowy mountains of the North and kept sunny and bright by ancient works of glass and metal. The country was once a crucial part of the trade routes in the region and provided many caravansaries to the trade network, a succession of harsh winters and the ambitions of a rival kingdom plunged it into war. His older brothers died leading the kingdom's armies against foreign invaders and his elder sister currently rules as a puppet queen, married to the lord who conquered those lands against her will. Many members of the family remain in the land, hostages in the court of the new rulers lending legitimacy to their reign.

	:Appearance:		::As the main claimant to the throne, Pietari fled south with his younger sister and a group of loyal retainers until such a time as he can return home to reclaim his land and free his remaining family. Like many of Lapingria's high knights, he is trained in both the martial arts and arcane mysteries, although his learning is somewhat stunted.

			:Appearance: A tall and well-built young man in his late twenties, pallid and rosy-cheeked with platinum blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Despite being quite physically strong, his face is somewhat effeminate.

			:Retainers:
			::Princess Tatiana, mid-teens imouto from another mother. Also adept at court intrigue and plays a mean game of dragonchess.
			::Maire, a former maid at the royal estates and current caretaker for the group. Good at cooking, domestic work and ''economics''. Mauno's twin sister.
			::Mauno, a page of Pietari who aspired to knighthood in the old country. Protects the group when Pietari is away and takes care of arms, armor and horses. Maire's twin brother.
			::Lawspeaker Ville, an older member of the court who has rote memorized the history, laws and customs of the country. Maire and Mauno's grandfather.
