Frederick Allan Howe is polite but reserved when dealing with strangers and most subordinates, no matter how strange or bizarre they might seem. He is not cold or unemotional however, just very English, and so dislike strong displays of emotion. Around friends and family he is far more at easy, friendly, easy going, and reveals a quirky sense of humour.<br><br />

His political views are small c conservative, and marked by an unusually strong belief in King and Country. He dislikes Project Utopia and the UN in general, as well as the EU, the Labour Party, and the French. However he absolutely despises the Teragen, viewing them as the worst sort of terrorist, and a set of potential new Nazi's. Of course he would never talk of politics, except for his dislike of Teragen, in public or to strangers.<br><br />
<br><br />
On a related note he finds his code name to be a little silly, but endures it. However he absolutely refuses to wear the sort of costumes that many Nova's seem to find fashionable. As a fighting man he wears his uniform, or his Eufiber outfit made to look as one, with pride.<br><br />
<br><br />
In a real battle however he is deadly serious, though he abides by the rules of war that's his only concession to fair play. Nor does he have any macho ideas about standing his ground to fight to the end. Howe's tactics are deceptively simple, find hidden locations to shoot from, teleport between them as needed, and have an escape route plotted out just in case. On several occasions he's moved so quickly between various locations that the enemy has thought they were under attack by multiple snipers.<br><br />

In order to remain invisible while teleporting he wears an Invisibility Suit over his Eufiber armour. It's not as good as his invisibility, but it gives him a little extra edge when he lands in a new spot after teleporting.<br><br />
