			The Satrapy or Kingdom of Dewa was a fairly typical province of the Zenith Empire (AKA details are still in development) until it broke the rules of war. The empire was declining and the individual satrapies had been given a great deal of self autonomy, but such a flagrant violation could not pass by unpunished. Especially when political opponents seize upon the incident. The Emperor's Guard, also known as the Imperial Legion, was sent in to enforce the rules and were there when War in Heaven occurred. They have since become the de facto rulers of the province.

			''The Imperial Legions:'' A series of small but highly elite units sworn only to the Empire and the Emperor. They were charged with guarding the Emperor (and the Imperial family) as well as enforcing the rules of war and imperial level decrees. The majority of the Legions were destroyed when Meridian Province was blasted but the survivors have mostly gathered in Dewa. The Legions claim to be descended from the armies that stood against the Chosen and then expanded the empire to the ends of the continent.

	Reiwan is the ~~predominant religion in Dewa - having spread from Mizuho in ancient times~~. ~~The capital city, Wakamatsu,~~ is ~~home~~ to the ~~largest Meridian style Reiwan shrine outside of Mizuho~~.		Dewa has a somewhat unique issue in that the locals mostly follow the Reiwan religion, while the Legionaries tend to follow the Arete Draconic. This is one of the issues that has led to the underlying tensions within the province.
