Since it lost its own One Year War, Wendin was annexed by Otora; its royalty was all executed, its nobility mostly disenfranchised, and its population brutally subjugated. 			Aristide I was the Great Duke of Wendin from 1984-2002. His reign brought the sakuradite revolution to Wendin, increased rule of law via iron fist, reduction to the rights and excesses of the nobility and rampant militarism. He was considered among the foremost of Wendin's commanders during the war and was a peerless knightmare pilot.
