She has spent much of her life immersed in the making and shaping of glass and taken to it as at least one in a generation before her has. Changing times have shifted her priorities away from merely preserving traditions like her now-estranged mentor uncle once did, to the modernization of the families' practices so that they might be able to continue their techniques in the future. 			Claudie's magic is focused on the processing and refinement through the pure element of glass, which exists in a paradox nestled between the four other classical elements: refined from the earth through fire and flowing like water until it meets the caress of the air, which it both contains but is contained by. Her family has traditionally incorporated powdered gemstones into their glass to give is mystical properties useful to other magi, although she is equally adept at making use of other substances to strengthen her creations.

			More importantly, she's begun to borrow from the Solficati and the now-defunct Thig, using technological devices made of glass to broaden her options. She's rather fond of glasses but also modern smartphones, car headlights and even specific kinds of transistors that incorporate a very pure and useful form of glass for her to manipulate.
