	Formerly contained within a Grand Daiklave Shu looted from the aftermath of Charles Starborn's assault on Lo Pan's chantry, the sword was destroyed in the final strike against Nakezawa Takumi, mastermind of the Japan plot and architect of the would-be end of the world. A master of Entropy, Takumi had a defense that would destroy any weapon used against him- and so, the blade containing Claidmell was destroyed, freeing the War Elemental. In the aftermath of these events, Shu and Claidmell came to an agreement, forging a contract. Shu gained a wicked tattoo, and Claidmell gained a worthy companion through thick and thin. On that day when Shu slipped out the back door of Arcus Prima to escape Kana's wrath- and fear- over the curse on the Totsuka-no-tsurugi, it was Claidmell who disabled the security doors. Until Shu took on [[Tashi Goshawk]] in 2017 as an apprentice, the greater storm elemental had been his only companion for many solitary years. :Airt Sense: 1 power, it can intuitively sense the flow of the spirit worlds, and can find its way around them. The sword can be used sort of as a delving rod.
:Control Electrical Systems: 1-5 Power. The Spirit rolls its Gnosis against a variable difficulty depending on the complexity of system. Success gives it brief control.
:Short Out: a variant of the above, also using Gnosis just to shut down electical systems temporarily.
