Other Kingdoms: The world of building a dynasty is a living world with many other kingdoms besides that of the great Hanshen Empire. Below is a list of the major kingdoms within the walled however there are large number of neutral towns and powers that you may encounter as you play.


Mainland Powers: The mainland of Tellandra is divided between seven kingdoms of man as well as in numerous other smaller societies including Cho jir, mountain dweller, nomadic tribes, small neutral powers and some suspect elders.

Western Wu:

History: The kingdom of Western Wu had humble beginnings as three rebellious provinces brought together by General Wu Hong Chan after he had been betrayed by the royal court during the Great War. Since then Western Wu has grown to more than six times its original size absorbing several very rich provinces from the original Hanshen Empire during the war. Under the wise rule of King Chan the kingdom of Western Wu has prospered in recent years securing peace and prosperity for its citizens as well as increasing its sway over neighboring neutral powers. Although the buffer zone between Western Wu and Hanshen has prevented any open warfare there have been numerous border skirmishes between the Lords of the two kingdoms, as well as numerous proxy wars between neutral kingdoms within the region. Current political relations between Hanshen and Western Wu are tense as both nations seek to expand their influence over the surrounding territories.

History: Like the other successor kingdoms the kingdom of Eastern Wu was formed during the Great War and consists mostly of territory seized from the original Hanshen Empire. Only fit cousins and Western Wu the kingdom of Eastern Wu has been very aggressive since the fall of the old Hanshen order, they have frequently had skirmishes with their neighbors including the Shu kingdom to their list. Their current leader Li Jiang is unpredictable ambitious and some say borderline insane making Eastern Wu dangerous to all of its neighbors.


Greater Qen:

History: The history of the kingdoms Qen is almost as tragic as that of the Hanshen Empire which spawned at; initially the kingdom of Qen was ruled as a united people by the great General Lao Bu Qen, however upon his tragic death his two sons Qen Hu and Qen Wong quickly began squabbling over who inherited the kingdom. In the event that would later become known as the Qen split the two brothers declared open war upon each other starting a brief but bloody civil war that would see the emergence of the kingdoms of greater and lesser Qen. For a very brief period King Qen who ruled over the kingdom of greater Qen until his mysterious death led to his Prime Minister Lau Fay Tsung taking control of his kingdom. In recent years the kingdom of greater Qen has appeared to be sizing up their neighbors for potential expansion though this cannot be confirmed at this time.


Lesser Qen:

History: Ironically after the Qen split the only portion of the Qen kingdom being held by actual Qen was the weaker of the two. The modern kingdom of lesser Qen has been very conservative about its expansion policies, avoiding conflict with its larger more powerful neighbor in even local powers. Currently Hanshen ministers believe that the possibility of a negotiated alliance between lesser Qen and Hanshen exists as Qen Wong has sent several ambassadors to the Hanshen Empire, though many are suspicious of his intentions.
